Krk is the largest and closest Croatian island for all guests coming from the north of Europe. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge. There are 68 towns and villages on the island with Krk being its capital town and the location of our campsite. The island has its own airport with connecting flights to all European countries. The coast has hundreds of coves, bays, inlets and natural harbours. There are hundreds of monitored and wild beaches inside the villages and towns and their vicinity.The island is full of cultural peculiarities and heritage as well as remains of well-preserved artefacts dating from the Illyrian and Roman period as well as writings in glagoljica (Glagolitic alphabet) – the first written records of the Croatian people.
